Pool leg bowed way out from pool. We have a SWG and noticed rust inside legs this year. Pool is level. How far do we need to drain water to replace the leg?

You will need to drain the pool completely. Trying to replace the leg on a full pool will put more force on the other legs and if they are also weakened by rust you may have more legs fail.
Was hoping to drain 1/2 the pool and try. Am afraid of more legs bending. Was hoping that would be enough. You think I should drain completely?
I have had that same pool set up since 2012. So far, haven’t noticed any rust. However, going into the second year, noticed that the support legs were sinking into the ground. While the pool was completely filled, I used a rolling automotive floor jack and a (approximately) 3-foot long 4x4 post to lift the legs (one at a time) in order to place a concrete paver block under each leg. Worked fine without any issues.
Thank you! I believe the saltwater is what rusted them. We used same method as you yesterday and replaced the leg. I did drain about 2/3 water first.
I have seen this method mentioned several times. I have two pavers that broke and one that the leg just slid off of. How exactly did you use this jack? Did you lift the top rail?
I'm also interested in EXACTLY how to do this. Tried but there's nowhere/no way to put the 2x4 under the top rail to lift it and there's not enough space in the opening for the leg to fit the 2x4 either. I have a rolling jack... how do I get it under the top rail in order to lift it?
Hi Leinbech, you have an Intex rectangular pool, right? Where did you place the 4x4 to get under the top rail?

On the same topic, sort of, the leg supports on my ultra frame pool have rusted. Intex doesn't have any replacement parts. Any ideas on what to do?
