This one is for me....

The squaring up of the steps, ceiling, and doorway were the purrfect things to do! That really made that area look good!

What is this you are telling me about heads not being approved drywall holders??? I thought that was how everyone did it! It is how we did it in our pool house! Worked just fine!

5/8 fireproof that we use for theatres are brutal especially once u hit that second layer. Looks really good Brian. I’m glad I’m not the only sick ticket who would rather thier house burn rightctoctje ground vs saving it. Lol

Oh no you did not!!! She is going to kill you! You were told by TWO females not to do it!!! This female told you to do it so that does balance it out some but you have to live with one of them  you are in for it now!

That does really open up that area. I like it! How does it look from the door and other room?

Kim:kim: (hoping B is still alive after wife sees what he has done now  LOL)

I made a deal with her. She picked a chandelier that I think looks horrible so I said she can get the light if I can open the wall.

She likes it now?

So she wins, she likes both and you only like one. Or did you play the game and just tell her you hated the chandelier?

By the way, where did the HVAC return go with the new opening? Are you just going to locate it higher up on the wall above the opening?

Good eyes. It was a pain in the rear to move and several circuits had to be rewired. It was a good thing though because there were some switches in some odd places that got to get cleaned up and that HVAC return was ugly where it was.

I’m surprised you didn’t try to square up those windows with arched tops....unless, you DO intend to square them up

Nice interior finishing work....I know of house in Arizona that could use some pro work like that ....

I'm not crazy about those windows but they do match with the aesthetics of the front of the house... who am I kidding??? That'll probably be the next project.

And this house was supposed to be turn-key for us?

Until the day comes when they pry the Sawz-All from your cold, dead hands, nothing will ever be turn-key for you....
