Pool is currently at 83, we have clouds and rain expected today and a cold front moving through so 2019 swimming has ended probably for a while as January is typically our coldest month

Well it's been cold for a while but pool made it to 84 today with warmer weather in store for the rest of the week. Hopefully we'll be swimming tomorrow

Pool is about 85 each day with solar only. Last few days we kick it up to 90 with gas heate since the kids are here for a visit.

Ice pretty much maintains ambient temperature once it's frozen solid. And it was cold here today.
It was a joke. My pool has been frozen for months now...
We also have a 2500gal ice block in our backyard, covered in snow no less! lol air temp has been around 18 or so....

I thought it would be cool if we all posted our current pool temperatures as we move into the spring season. I think this would be helpful to people looking at different heating options if they are in the same general area.
My pool is currently:
Temperature = 85
Solar Heater Facing South that is 105% of the pools surface area and I am using a solar blanket at night to maintain the heat.

Not sure, it's a block of ice with about a foot and a half of snow on top, been melting a bit lately, can actually see the outline of the pool now... Will not see open water until April

Goes between 39 and 42. Am thinking that I will get the heater a test run once it gets up to about 60... COME ON POOL SEASON!!!

Ours is in the 50's but still needs about 8 oz of 10% bleach on average every day --- hmmm -- must be our desert sun!

Not using too much bleach here; I have added a total of 220 oz since 1/15.
Same here Marty. It’s starting to increase more as the sun starts it’s pivot towards summer arch.

Sadly it started dropping with very little hope of rising again this season.
Dropped from 29C to 21C in the past week thanks to bad weather, and the few hot days coming up won't make a huge difference
Need to seriously look at solar panels.
