What does your pool paradise look like?

Patrick, what are those towers with the water coming out of them? Are those pre fab, or did you make those yourself?
Hi Rob, those are called Paradise Pillars. I've been making them locally for people in my area for a few years. Most of the pillars are self watering flower pots that hook right up to your existing sprinkler system. I've even made some that have the water coming out of the fountain backlit.

It's recirculated pool water coming out of the fountains. The flower pots get watered using micro tubing and micro sprinkler that is spliced into the sprinkler system. You could also just run a micro sprinkler system on it's own with a timer which is fairly cost effective. I use the sprinkler in the picture in my pots.

Our goal was to maximize functional space on the hill so we created a few different tiered spots... Kitchen up top, A fire place area that still allows a view of the pool, middle seating area, secret garden for our girls, golf green (which really can be used for a variety of things such as corn-hole..etc), and another round firepit at the bottom that we can use especially during the winter season (ice skating, ice fishing). The project took over 18 months and was pure heck (muddy mess), stressful and a financial nightmare. However, we love the results.

Regarding the steps... LOL, its not fun, the path on the left was designed to be able to drive a golf cart up and down.... but after we built it nobody has had the guts to actually test the drive. The stones were even placed to prevent a cart from driving over the edge... but its still steep, maybe too steep :) At least it serves as a path to be able to walk a roller cooler up and down.
