We just finished our build and put in a SR Smith Typhoon. It is awesome. Has a very high weight limit so most adults would be able to use it. I feel like my boys are very safe on it. The ladder is deep and foot treads enclosed. It can be hard plumbed, attached to a garden hose or used without any water at all. We have it connected to the hose and only a quarter turn is enough to have the water flowing fast. Initially we used it with no water and it was fine too. My boys love love love it. I joke to my hubby that we should have just built a slide with a water pit to catch them at the bottom. It’s all they do. Up and down up and down.
That is one we were looking at plus the next size up. Our only limitation is that our pool deck is four feet wide and curved where we want to put it. How old are your kids ours are 11. Want to make sure it will be fun enough for them

Our pool deck is also small at about 1.2-1.3m wide so about the same as yours. Double check the sr smith website for stats as I’m sure we looked at that one and were semi relieved $ wise when it wouldn’t fit. Ours just fits with room to squeeze around it it (but we have a retaining wall in the way you likely have open space after your decking). What I love is that there is ample room to walk under it. It’s about 1.8+m high on the under side. If you can fit the next model go for it. We must have measured 50 times and still weren’t 100% the typhoon would fit until it went up. We are also glad we didn’t hard plumb as where we envisioned it going isn’t where it ended up. It is so much bigger than you can imagine even after watching YouTube videos etc. I didn’t realise just how big it was until it was up. I call it our eyesore and had second thoughts when it first went up. But oh the fun my kids have had on it since the second they were allowed on erased those thoughts instantly. It’s been about 2-3 weeks and we are in winter, they have school activities etc and have still managed at least 15 sessions. They are 12 and 6.5 year old boys. It is by far the best outside thing we have ever done for them. It’s so much fun. I have read reviews where the adults use it more than the kids lol so I wouldn’t worry about them outgrowing it. This thing is a serious waterslide! My eldest said he wasn’t expecting a water park slide in our pool when he saw it for the first time. He was shocked in a happy way. Excuse the tidal waves in the photos... our pool reminds me on toddlers in a bathtub as it’s so small!
