And this is what I came home to after work! They are about 3/4 done right now so I'll snap some more photos later.

Pool is looking great!I'll be doing most of the installation of the low-voltage lighting myself, just wanting the electrician to put in an extra outlet at the equipment location and another outlet behind the raised bond beam section of the pool. This will allow me to run lights along the 3 sides of the backyard fence and possibly some other lights around the perimeter of the pool. I plan to buy at least one 300W (or bigger) transformer so I won't be limited on the amount of lights I can eventually install. I have a few ideas floating around in my head, but I want to wait until the pool build is done before I start in on the lighting project.

I would use multiple transformers that way you can have more control. Never go over 80% of the wattage of the transformer and anything within 5' of the pool must be a safety transformer.
I had two outlets placed on each side of the decking parameter (one on each side). So glad I did it as we charge phones or plug in the robot! Also had them put a light over the pool equipment which is tied to the automation so I can turn on from my iPhone. The light over the equip pad also comes on automatically when the pool runs in freeze mode...
