Can’t be any worse than the time I added salt and left the SWG on.

If you're using bleach, you don't want anything that says, splashless, EZ Pour, or scented. Recently, Clorox has added cloromax to their bleach and target's store brand has something similar that says "fabric protection". You want to avoid all those. If it was me, I would stick to 10% liquid chlorine.
Where to get LC 10%?
Got the water test kit on Friday and I read what came in it. I forgot what it came with. There is lot of things I did not have. Cleaning brush, big net. Had rain today and yesterday. How long to wait to test the water after it has stopped raining? In other forum section found out what I think Is main problem have been having with the pool. SWG is way undersized. It’s a IC15. Have a 20k gallon pool. That is why it’s not making enough chlorine.
Great job!
So - CYA cannot be measured at 25. The scale is logarithmic. So you test to each full '10' line, such as 60, then 50, the 40 until the dot disappears.
Your CC is quite high. With your CYA at 30 (rounded up from your '25'), I would suggest a SLAM Process.
Take care.
it was right in the middle of 20 and 30. so its better to round up?
Once you are successful with your SLAM, you will want to get your CYA to 70 or so. That will help your undersized SWCG work. You will still want to test FC daily as you will most likely need to add LC on a regular basis to supplement the chlorine the SWCG is generating.

Correct.
What is good price for chlorine? I seen an ad for a hardware store that has 5 gallons for $10.
