Let me start by saying that I'm an engineer... since I was a kid I loved to take things apart so I could see how they work. I've posted about the old spa that was at this house when we purchased last year (Older Spa Maintenance)
Since then, I've had it apart twice now. Last time I replaced all of the cluster jets... but had 2 still slightly leaking and one with little pressure. The leakers were because I couldn't get the back of the housing tight enough to the tub & the low pressure is due to a kink in the flexible tubing.
Well, I just drained it to repair those and keep having this crazy idea that I should just tear out all of the plumbing and start over. The pump and heater are less than one year old, so I'm good there
Shouldn't be that hard - right? (famous last words)
I have several questions...
There are more questions in my mind, but I'll stop there for now.

I have several questions...
- Is this a good idea or am I just plain crazy?
- If I go through with it, is there a brand/type of jets that everyone likes the most? (I would like to update them all anyway.)
- What about the bubbler ports on the bottom? The blower burnt up due to water intrusion and we didn't like it when we used it anyway. Should I just plug them or is there some type of little jet to put in?
There are more questions in my mind, but I'll stop there for now.
