New owner-builder (kinda) in Arizona

Well, the leak detector found that the leak was at the vac line wall fitting.

The interior company will be out to put drain the water a bit and apply some kind of epoxy or something to fix the leak.
Does anyone know if this is a permanent fix? Any other options for fixing the problem?
I'm just hoping it's not a bandaid & I will have problems down the line.

I bet you could find a "collar" to put around it to hide the fix. I also worry about it not being a real fix but we shall see tomorrow but I will be hoping it does fix it!

I'm not sure when they will be out to fix it. I'm going to try to research it & ask my plumber about it.
I think the repair is actually inside the fitting, so I don't think it will show.

Your corgi is adorable, and especially on the step. So.... your corgi is a male or female; name? Oh, that cool water feels so good!!!

This leak thing is a bummer, but it will get taken care of one way or the other. And your pool is beautiful! You've done a great job!!!

Oh! Thanks!
It's a female & her name is Petra. I have another female dog too (Australian cattle dog mix), but she's a little afraid of the water.
I just wanna play now! I'm tired of strange men in my backyard [emoji39]

Awwwww.....! Petra and ?? - they are so precious and beautiful! That's great you made a step for Petra. She definitely needs one with her short little legs! The hotter it gets, the more interested they will be about the water!

We had another member, Sunbaby, build a mini-beach entry to her pool just for her dogs. It was so cute. She had min-pins, and I can't remember what else. We tried a hard plastic kiddie pool to use as a boat for our cats to 'enjoy' in the pool, but they weren't crazy about it! Not at all! Oh well, you never know until you try! Our furry families!!!

Your water looks fantastic! I love the plaster and trim!

They are precious!! Your corgi has the sane shaped face/snout as my Cosmo. Gosh I miss him! Hope both pups will love the water. Our little guy now HATES it, but we keep trying ...

Thank you for all the positive comments!! My other pup's name is Olive. They are both super sweet, but exact opposites in so many ways.

Yeah, I wouldn't imagine too many cats like water! That would've been interesting to watch your cats in their boat.

Nope :(

Will could not do the videos either. I wonder what is up with that. Do you have a y-tube account? I KNOW those work.

Well, here are pics. You can see bubbles in both pump basket and surging bubbles at return closest to pump especially.
Only happens as main drain is opened 3/4-fully open & skimmer is then off.

Also, when main drain is open, filter pressure drops from 14 to 11.
