New Build - Frisco, TX

Looks nice, what make/size umbrella and where it was purchased if you don't mind asking. We're debating what to get right now and also where from.

Thank you Salty. The umbrella is a Treasure Garden AKZ13 cantilever. It's a 13 foot octagon. We bought ours from a local patio furniture store named Sunnyland. We debated long and hard on this umbrella because of the price point but WOW is this thing cool in person. It rotates 360 degrees around the base and will tilt up to 54 degrees in any direction. Just the ticket for the brutal Texas sun.

Thanks, R

I have that very one sitting in my cart in pacific blue, did you get the sunbrella fabric as well, and what color base did you go with? Any opinions on how it'll do in the wind, as I'm concerned about that. I know we need something as the sun in SC gets pretty dang hot as well.

Thanks,
Salty

We did do the sunbrella fabric. The frame color is bronze.

The base is filled with 400 lbs of sand. Our base has 4 separate canisters of the sand so if we want to move the massive thing we actually can :).

We haven't had it very long for a great opinion on the wind but... I feel if it's to windy I won't keep the umbrella open. It was slightly windy last night here- 12 mph and we had it open and tilted and it did just fine. For the crazy winds I think it'll do just fine as long as it is tied up properly. *** The delivery guy said it must be tied around the pole and not just the fabric or the wind will cause the umbrella to shift up and get stuck. It also came with a cover so when it's not in use or if bad storms are coming I will definitely put that on as well to help keep it more secure.

I love how the umbrella can rotate 360 degrees and be tilted for the sun changing direction.
Hope this helps with your decision!!

Thanks,
D

Thanks for the response, I just went ahead and ordered it. Says 4-6 weeks delivery so that should work perfect for when the sun starts pounding here.

That view of the fire, pool, and Hunter would make it hard to leave and go anywhere! NICE!

Is Hunter glad to have his back yard back or does he miss all of his new friends?

LOVE the glass in the fire pit!

LOL on R getting in the pool first! NOT ME! It has to be at least 80+ for me!

I can't wait!!!!!

I failed on the photo bomb Kim.

I had the best of intentions of taking a ton of pictures to post up right until our 80 degree water temp MADE me throw down the camera and jump in the pool for a quick swim!

I guess I will have to post up pictures in smaller bites until the water stops calling my name.

For now I will start with "the sexy" part of pool ownership.....aka the equipment pad

Better pics to follow.....I promise

And oh ya.....The nasty puck feeder on the equipment is fearing for it's life as we speak!

Thanks, R

You went swimming instead of taking and showing me pictures????? WELL done! Go jump in your pool again!

That equipment pad looks great. So neat and clean!

You can leave the puck tower. It will come in handy for weekend get aways and such. Much better than a floater that can get stuck somewhere.
