Anyone know anything about SE Grocers Essentials Bleach? Local Bilo has it for $1 gallon for the next week. Any idea what % it is?

My wife would like me to use that, probably wouldn't stain my shorts and shirts!I finally received a response from Bi-Lo customer support. The SE Grocers Essentials Bleach contains 1.5% Sodium Hypochlorite. I was thinking maybe 6% would never have thought 1.5%!!
Are you sure it wasn't Top Job? If so, it is 6-7%.Same at our Wal-marts. All pool supplies have been replaced with college student supplies. The Great Value 8.25% was $2.96/121oz. There is a $1/64oz "Top Choice" but it doesn't have a concentration and I couldn't find anything about it online. I bought a couple jugs. I'm going to try them in the pool and see what effect they have. If it is close to 8.25%, it will be great. That'll be my daily add, almost exactly.
That matches my math. I remember Top Job not being a good deal before, but I can't figure out why. Make sure the dates are fresh. Couldn't hurt to buy one and see if when you add it to your pool you actually get the expected amount of chlorine.Yes, you are right... 'Top Job'. Almost everything else there is 'somebody's choice'.
So 6-7%? The pool essentials 10% was $2.50 for 128oz, therefore, $.195 per ounce percent. Assuming 6% for 96 oz at $1, that is $.173 per ounce percent. And 7% would be $.149 per ounce percent.
Is my math wrong or is that really good?
According to Top Job msds percent is listed at 1-5%.That matches my math. I remember Top Job not being a good deal before, but I can't figure out why. Make sure the dates are fresh. Couldn't hurt to buy one and see if when you add it to your pool you actually get the expected amount of chlorine.

Think I'd rather buy 8% with a date code. Never know about how long that 10 or 12% stuff has been sitting out in the Texas heat, not worth it at that price!I wrote HASA through their web contact form because a search showed they have a location in Bryan, TX. It turns out it is a manufacturing location. No retail sales. So they referred me to a couple of pool stores. $4.50/gal in recyclable containers for 12.5% and $6/gal in disposable jugs for 10% at the other store. Does anyone buy from these guys? What a racket. Maybe I can make a deal with the HASA plant and bring a barrel over.
Target today 10% + 5%card +5% Cartwheel. $3.02 minus 20%. Only found 2 with 200+ date codes.
