Houston (Katy) Pool Build - Started April 2016

Oh, Kim! As my son would say, "That's harsh." But payback isn't always pretty. Phil didn't quite know what he was getting into, did he?!!!

Or maybe he's just toying with us by not posting pictures?!!! Trying to sap the fun out of our party..... He is a devious kind of guy. Now I'm getting nervous!

Seriously, though, I do hope the plaster job is going well for Phil.

A week or so. Still waiting on the approval from the city to remove the column from the patio. Kind of in a holding pattern until that gets taken care of. Coping, waterfall, tile, etc are all finished. All that's left is decking.

Then you'll have yours before me. Woot! Another one to see while I can still wishy wash and change my mind. Lol. I SO want to talk myself out of Prism Matrix due to the cost but every time I try, I fail miserably.

My wife didn't want it until we saw one in Deep Sea, then went to see one with the primera stone, then one with Satin Matrix Antiqua. After that she said we are getting Prism Matrix and I said "yes ma'am"

You teachers are all devilish. But I knew that growing up...always pushing and prodding us innocent kids..:)
With summer vacation around the corner, I'm glad this is not when you have all the free time to conjure up stuff. Teachers are imaginative for sure. ..my mom retired after 35 years of being a teacher.

Where did you see one? I can't find one to go see. ☹️

Lol. It does look a little like Kim's picture going on. How is you your weather holding? We're starting to sprinkle.

Is your applicator Uno? That is supposed to be ours but PB is having scheduling issues with them since they put all commercial jobs at the front of the queue.

Our builder plastered one in Fulshear 3 weeks ago. It was stunning in person.

Oh WOW!!! This is great! I cannot wait to see it when it's all finished and smoothed! Do they do the acid wash tomorrow or do something else? With a bit of luck, the rains over the next several days will help fill the pool! But let's get it all finished before we let the rains come. Right now, the radar looks good for west Houston and the NW. Just a few pop-up showers.

I :salut: your mom for her years as a teacher! I didn't make it that long before I had to retire.

Phil, We should have KNOWN you knew all about how to handle teachers.....with your mom being one for that long. I am on year 31. 4 more to go. It is neat to be able to count down.

Do you have ANY idea how hard it was to find that picture??? Not many picture of plaster melting LOL

That is BLUE for sure! Can't wait to see if acid washed!
