Our tile came from Keystone Tile off of Hwy 290 in Houston. It was called "Light" which is more like a light tan. I think the white that philboyj used is fantastic but our house colors were a little different. As to the durability issue? This is tumbled travertine and not porcelain tile, so it will be more "natural" looking. We have extra pieces so I figured if one gets real bad I will just pull it and replace it. I have a salt system and it still looks great but it has only been about 2 years. I don't find it too slippery at all and I think it looks great.
