Pool Build -- Annapolis, MD

Helen it looks fantastic! It's so neat to see how the colors evolve.

No way Denise! Your color is going to be so pretty, just wait. Besides, can't look artificial when it will be real in a real pool!!

Good point, TM!!

HELEN! I picked a good color for your pool! I love it and am so happy to hear you like it also!

nini, your pool NEEDS to be that deep, rich blue! It just fits you and your area!

Every pool so far is purrfect for who it was built.

Kim

Kim, you did a great job with Helen's plaster ;)

It's true, everyone's pool works out to be perfect for them.

Has the polar bear club convened yet? Your water has to be warmer than the MSP PBP at SPSP.

Not here. My pool has no reason to be open quite yet.

Yours looks great by the way.

Helen!!! Just catching up on your thread..... OMG - your landscaping is absolutely wonderful! It is so lush - what I love!!! And what a shot with your regal puppy dog!!!! This shot of him with the landscaping and pool in the background is worthy of a calendar!!!! No kidding!

And now about your pool..... It is beautiful and lovely - serene and peaceful! Yes, I could dream away by and in this pool! I'm in love with all the grays - such a beautiful accent to the lush greens and colors of your gardens. And don't you love the "Helen steps"?!!! They are such a wonderful and graceful feature all by themselves! You'll love the ease of going up and down them - so will everyone else! What a great summer you and your family will have!!!

I'm like your husband! This is how pools should look! I just realized that the other day when I went to test a friend's water. His is white plaster (just plain old plaster). I sighed and thought to myself, 'This is what I should have gotten. It's what I grew up seeing at the community pools." (yes, I will probably die still second guessing my plaster color - LOL!!!!)

I know you're thrilled! C'mon Summer!!!!! :sun::sun::sun:
Suz

Almost full, will have to see how/if it changes this month:

Thanks, ladies! Credit for the gardening goes to my husband. He did a great job finding and repositioning plants displaced during construction (all over the place!!!), dividing the survivors, and adding some new things. As with all gardens, it will take a few years to settle down and start looking its best. One day, it may be warm enough in Maryland to actually swim, tho Greg and the boys have dipped in.
:sunny:
Suz, I still pine for a darker plaster when the water is still. But once we have the pumps and waterfalls going, the surface is sparkly and I'm good with the finish!

tho Greg and the boys have dipped in!
 Impressive.

It all looks great! I'm enjoying seeing our pool area perennials, etc. all thrive this spring...it is something that brings me endless joy.
