wiring a swg system

i am installing a hayward swg system and was wondering if i could wire it 120v since my VS hayward pump never cuts off, just slows down at night. i see no need to wire 240v if my pump never quit running. Thanks

Sorry to say, but no, you can't wire the SWG to 120v. Its a 220v system, so that's what it has to have.

The regular AquaRite can be wired 120 or 240. See the inside of the door for the wiring diagram.

In any case, wiring for 120 won’t be an advantage over 240.

The SWG should be on a timer that is set to match the on time of the pump.

The SWG should be turned off any time the pump is off.
