Winter cover replacement

Have had the same mesh winter cover for 23 years (IG pool) and its at the end of its life, I'm considering a solid cover with mesh center has anyone had any dealings with Ameri-Brand Products? Looking to send off my old cover this Spring and have a replacement made off the original for this up coming Fall. I've had good life out of the mesh I currently have and am somewhat on the fence on the solid with mesh center, those that have had both can you commit? Thanks , Steve

I would think if it's a loop lock style mesh cover that's one thing but a solid one with the same strap system on a solid cover will be a problem supporting snow and ice. The center mesh can possibly work for rain but snow is a different story. The solid cover used on pools are the kind that sits on the water and isn't suspended at all.
