Will this pump work under water??

What I am wondering is if this pump is safe to run under water to help stir up the water and also thought about putting a sock on it and just take it out when the pool is being used?

Does the data on the pump say submersible?

The cord entry nor the housing joint on that motor is designed to be submersible, it's only designed to be water resistant (IP-65) unless I'm mistaken.

You may be able to contact Summer Escapes and ask them what the IP rating (Ingress Protection Code) for that pump is.

The pump don’t say anything and I don’t have any paper work on it but I will look into what Bama’s suggestion Is. Thanks for your help
