Just wondering if running the spa with all the jets and air bubbles going will cause PH to rise? I know the spa spillover causes PH to rise, so wondering about the spa running for several hours at 104 degrees.
I would think it will. Outgasing is what it is. Does not matter if it's the spillover or kids splashing in the pool or the jets in the spa. That water mixes into the pool at some point.
In spa mode, test your spa water pH, then run the jets/air for 15-20 mins, then test pH again. I was shocked how many tenths my pH rose in that very short time with the air blower on. It's why I drop the pH to 7.2-7.4 before heating it up.
