Hello, I am shopping around for automatic pool cover motor and found out that a HD motor is less expensive than a STD motor. Could anyone kindly provide more explanation? Thanks a lot

Automatic Cover Manufacturers typically only sell through authorized dealers and the dealers have a big markup because the motors are usually proprietary.
