CYA in a sock…. In a Ryobi pool vac… CYA took all day to dissolve, for some reason tried this to speed it along. Pool vac has an auto shutoff apparently, but it did seem to help.

It didn’t really work out. The vac shuts down after around 20 minutes or so. Can’t leave it unattended. I also had some CYA that really didn’t seem to want to dissolve. Might work great with a different brand, who knows.

That’s always a possibility on the 4th of July in South Carolina. Last year the neighbors across the street went though $8,000 in fireworks…. Wish me luck tomorrow…

Must be a SC things, we are in Hilton head and the last few years they shot better fireworks on the beach then the professional show.
One guy did say SC has less restrictions on who can professional fireworks

One downside is my dogs give me that “ we are all going to die, why are you scared” look

Yep, we go crazy with the fireworks! We can buy some scary stuff. They are fun, but pricey. My dogs don’t like them either. I used to have an Akita that absolutely loved fireworks. She was mesmerized by them, she used to try and take off on me to try to catch them.
