Whoops - ice vs liner

Ran the cover back a few weeks ago to have a look when there was still ice floating on the pool.

Opened last weekend and I’m losing water. Finally got time to inspect today, and found the problem. Looks like the cover dragged the ice into the corner and punctured the liner. Won’t make that mistake again.

Opps! I see a trip to Lowes in your future for a liner repair kit! Make sure it is one that has the glue to be added instead of the "self stick" ones.

That stinks for sure, but at least it's repairable. Goes to show how damaging ice can be though. May not seem like much on the surface, but it'll get ya. Good luck with the repair and have a nice weekend.

Already fixed
I kept the piece of liner that was cut out from the in-wall ladder and was able to make a patch matching the pattern.
