White Flakes from SWG

When I turn up the percentage on my SWG I get tons of white flakes in the pool.
FC-9.5
PH-7.6
TA-70
CH-875
CYA-70
I live in El Paso, TX we have very hard water. We just started using a water softener when we refill the pool. What should my numbers be when my CH is so high? It's a fiberglass pool, 21900 gallons.

Focus on CSI. Pool School - Calcium Saturation Index (CSI)). It is calculated by PoolMath

Keep the CSI between -0.3 and 0.

We have CH250 ppm fill water and keep our CSI in that range and do not have calcium build up on our SWCG.

So looking at pool math maybe if I lower my TA and PH that would work. Right now it's 0.13

It should.

As you have access to softened water, I would slowly try to lower your CH. Getting it down to 600 would make it easier. But I manage ours until the CH hits 1000 ppm and then drain.

Yes and replace with lower CH water.
