White film on pool surface

When I opened the pool I had black algae. I’ve never seen in 23 years. I suspect my pool company forget to add chemicals when they closed it. I got the pool cleaned and numbers are good but this white film persists. I’ve tried anti foam and now phosphate killer because it shows it’s high.
I don’t think it’s white mold because it’s just a thin film. Any suggestions? I only added the Pool Juice Zero today so maybe it’ll do the trick in a few days.

Thanks

Not likely to be black algae with a liner pool surface. Can you scrape it off and smear it on a paper towel?

Welcome to TFP!!!

As the the foam and cloudy pool, it is likely due to the pool store chemicals.

How do you test your water? Do you have a test kit? If not, get one. Link-->Test Kits Compared

Why are test kits needed? Pool Store *pfft testing is unreliable, and we can do more damage by making recommendations based on their tests.

If you have a test kit we recommend, post a full set of results.

If you don't, add 3ppm of liquid chlorine PER DAY until the test kit arrives, nothing else.

When it arrives, follow the SLAM process to clear the pool. Link-->SLAM Process
