Hello all . I follow TFP methods ... you should be able to view my numbers on pool math and my signature should have my pool specs .... I’ve not ever had the deposits on the outside of the spa before ( just on the spillover ) . I would appreciate any and all advice . 😊

That is probably efflorescence from water leaking from cracked grout lines in your tile or coping.

I assume this means water balance is not the problem and this is a structural problem ?

Is this a normal problem for hot tubs made with stone?

Should I call the pool company ?

gunite, plaster, tile and grout are not waterproof, they let small amounts of water through constantly... When stone is done like that it should have 1 or 2 layers of waterproofing done under the stone to prevent efflorescence..

Until it is fixed it will look like that... You may use some CLR to see if you can get some of it off but it will return... I would not do anything until the builder see's what is happening and comes up with a solution..
