I'm new to all this and still learning. So I'm curious which test is more accurate that you trust? The drop tests with the Taylor kits or the pool store? I'm getting totally different numbers.Screenshot_20200804-122621.png20200804_122634.jpg

Hey Biggellor and Welcome !! One of those tests is designed to milk your wallet as many times as you decide to believe it. The more it messes things up, the more you have to purchase to fix it. The other one just tells you what’s what so you can add your own generic, yet effective chemicals to get back on track. I’ll let you be the judge as to which is which. :)

I would go with the professional one that has the big exclamation point on your FC saying it is too high, then recommends to add 8oz of their shock 🙄
