After many disappointments trying to get the chemicals in the pool that came with this home right, we finally removed it and now have a brand spanking new vinyl pool. 30' by 4.5' high. Anyway, it is almost filled with our well water, which has no ph, cya, etc in it. So..what to put into the water first? Then what? I have and can use the TF 100 test kit.
Where to start with chemicals in new pool?

Add 3 ppm FC of liquid chlorine. Add 30 ppm of CYA. Test pH and adjust into the 7’s. Follow the FC/CYA Levels

For starters do the full list of tests on the instruction card and post asap. You will need stabilizer for sure along with chlorine etc....let's get those numbers and we can go from there.

I knew you had the answer. I just did not know what comes first, the chicken or the egg. Thanks and will do-the pool should be filled up by nightfall.
