I have a 18x33 oval above ground pool. Having trouble figuring out which way to point the return jet. If I point it away from the skimmer, the flow just goes to the opposite diagonal corner and doesn’t seem to circulate well. So do I point down and towards the skimmer?

Ping pong balls! Throw some in and play with the return to see what works best to move the balls to the skimmer. It may take a few days to find the purrfect setting.
