We plan to erect our AGP this weekend. I have water coming on Monday, if all goes well. Is it okay to attach my skimmer before water is brought into the pool?

My Hayward skimmer instructions stated to fill with two feet of water before cutting the liner for the skimmer. The liner will stretch, and if you cut the liner and install the skimmer before water stretches the liner then when the liner stretches it will likely tear the liner.
Check your pool/skimmer instructions, they should specify this.

Thank you! That's what we figured.....that the liner will stretch! We plan on having two trucks come out Monday to fill half way, install the skimmer, then have the other two truck come Tuesday to finishing filling up the pool.
Yep, i filled mine to a few inches below where I was installing the skimmer.
