What's your current pool temp?

We've still only been in the pool maybe 4 times since Memorial Day :grrrr: . It was 94 today according to the vehicle thermometer, but we were in the vehicle all day doing a bit of riding around. Pool when we got home was still only 78. Tomorrow I hope for it to break 80.

Been on vacation all week. Today was the first day out of the 70's air temp. Good for doing stuff around the house, not so good for the new-to-us real size pool. Last day of vacation for Wifey so we hope to get some swimming in tomorrow.

Ours is at a steady 84 degrees.

Spent yesterday cleaning up the mess from Tropical storm Debby. Leaves and ants (apparently ants love to swim?!) all blown into the pool. Got in, scooped the leaves then put on the mask and snorkel and vacuumed the bottom. I had a blast! Once that was done, I climbed onto a raft and floated around for a while, just enjoying the product of all my hard work!

Last night it was 90, it only dropped to 87 overnight! Running my aerator today, most likely I will switch my scheduling and aerate at night and run the return normally during the day to circulate better. I'm wondering with 100 degree heat if I will be forced to aerate 18 hours a day.

Here in Vegas it's been in the hundreds, mostly 104-106 hi everyday, pool is sitting with no cover at 86, I found that without the cover the pool will never be any warmer than last nights low temp. The bubble cover disinigrated this year upon removal so no cover for me anymore, two summers and two winters, 160.00 spent.

Our water was 87 at 8 pm yesterday, 90 the day before but a morning tstorm dropped the temp with cool rain.

86 and lovin it...ambient got to 104F here yesterday, but the nights still cool off some. The lake we swam in yesterday was definitely over 90 (at least, though I did not measure it) at the surface...not so refreshing.

Ours is a refreshing 80 degrees in central PA. Temperatures have been near 90 for a week, so I have been leaving the cover off most nights. I like to get my core cooled down, if it's over 82 degrees, to me it's not satisfying! Supposed to be mid-nineties tomorrow, so I covered the pool, as 80 might feel pretty chilly when the air temp is so much hotter. I would enjoy the swim no matter what, but like to feel cooled down!!

92... glad I need to reduce TA so I can run the fountain. Cold front this weekend might bring us highs only in the 90s... we are about to get on feathers and start doing rain dances... last time it rained was April :(

My pool temp is around 78 degrees. We are NE of Houston so you might expect it to be much warmer but we have a lot of tall trees that prevent the pool from getting full sun for a good part of the day. So we get moderate water temps in during the summer but a later warmup in the spring and earlier cooldown in the fall. Last month during one really wet/cloudy week it actually dipped down to about 67/68 which felt a bit chilly.
