Water is < 3 months old. Test strip within range for 7 things inc bromine, acid, ph, hardness

Only stuff I saw when searching was related to Ahhsome jet cleaner, haven’t used any special stuff besides pH raiser and typical bromine amount.

Any thoughts what the floating stuff is? How to get rid of it? Treat it? Prevent it? Etc

That does resemble biofilms.
The cure for biofilms is an Ahhsome purge then drain & refill.

The prevention for biofilms is regular Ahhsome purges then drain & refill every 3-6 months along with adequate sanitation in between.
All brand new tubs should be purged as biofilms can form in the plumbing while the tub is in transit to you since they are wet tested at the factory.

Here’s the bromine guide
& the chlorine guide if you decide to change upon refilling

As mentioned the strips are no good & will lead you astray - you need a taylor k2006 or tf100
