What’s against using an inground cleaner on a abg pool?

I’ve got a line on a decent priced kreepy krauly great white that’s new. They advertise it as use in an IG pool. What would happen in an ABG pool? Also what’s the opinion of this one. Reviews seem pretty positive.

It will be fine for the floors, but don't expect it to climb the walls very well.

I believe one of the concerns is that when climbing the wall, it is placing some stress on the liner where it attaches to the pool rail, which "may" cause the pool liner/top rail attachment to become compromised. This is obviously very pool specific and factors such as weight of cleaner and method of liner attachment (J-hook/Uni bead, etc.) come into play. There are folks that have used in ground pool cleaners with AGPs successfully.
