New liner installed 2 weeks ago to 20 x 40 inground w/deep end (approx 35,000 gal) chlorine pool. Was out of town for a few days and now water is cloudy. Tested everything but not sure what to do first. FC=.5, CC=.5, pH=7.0, TA=110, CH=70, CYA=0 Any advice?

Add stabilizer via the sock method for a CYA target of 30. Use the PoolMath to help you with dosage amounts. At the same time, immediately add liquid chlorine/regular bleach for an FC goal of 3 ppm. Tomorrow increase the FC to 5-7 ppm and consider running an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test tomorrow night to confirm or rule-out algae. I suspect it is the start of algae, so you might start reading-up on the SLAM Process now.
