I’m looking at options for my new install. I’ve heard more SQ is better for cartridge filter. I’m looking at the pentair clean and clear series now. They have a 240, 320, and 520 size available. I’m also using a sta-rite VS super max 2.2 pump. That pump has 1.5 inch inlets. Does that need to match the inlets on the filter? Which size filter would you recommend?

You have another thread talking about an auto cover. Do you have one? A signature really helps us help you.
In your climate, I suspect the 320 would be fine, but the 420 would likely insure you will only clean it once a year if you follow the TFP water chemistry protocol.

I do have an auto cover planned. I was waiting until after the pool was here before I changed my signature. This is a self install, so alot to be decided. Thanks for your help.
