What sequestrant brands do you recommend?

Hi! I have hard well water with a prefilter system for fill up but still have discolored water. We have used iron myte and hth metal stain and scale remover in past but I was wondering what sequestrant you all recommend? I have a vinyl liner and a very yellow pool

Sequestrants based on HEDP, phosphonic acid, or phosphonic acid derivatives are the most effective. ProTeam’s Metal Magic and Jack’s Magic The Pink Stuff (regular), The Blue Stuff (fresh plaster), and The Purple Stuff (salt) are some of the top brand sequestrants. There are also other brands with similar active ingredients, some of which are noticeably less expensive.

You also have the option of just filtering out the oxidized iron: If you’ve got iron in your fill water, use Polyfill to remove it

We have 2 pre filters for our hose that are 5 micron not the small hose attachments but the big boys that we use in our house filter system.. we did poly fill last year and it didn't help at all we could see staining coming straight out of the bucket and staining the pool and ladder it was touching
