What is this thing called, and how do I get it open?

I’m pretty certain this thing has a timer mechanism inside that controls when jets turn on or rotate?

Can you tell me what it’s called and also give advice on how to open it? I unscrewed the latch handle and it’s not budging. The logo says “master pools”.

Thanks for your help, I’m at a loss!

Water distribution valve for infloor cleaning system.

Link for reference only and not an endorsement of the company linked.

With the pump OFF -
Unscrew the 3 point knob and remove the band clamp.
Remove the clear lid
Take pics of the inside so youcan refer to them when you reassemble the inards.

When putting the lid back on, clean the mating surfaces and band clamp well. Also clean and lube the O-ring.
Reinstall the band clamp - tighten until barely snug - tap (lightly) around the perimeter of the band clamp with a rubber mallet or short piece of 2x4 - tighten band clamp a bit more. Do this several times to snug up the band clamp. Turn on the pump and check for leaks.
