I stopped my service about 6 months ago and have had good luck cleaning and keeping this Crud gone. Now i look at my pool and I see this (see pictures). Is this algae, and how to make it go away?

That can happen with some pics and today's high-res phone cameras. You may need to adjust the resolution or re-size the pics.
