You get the ultimate compliment... That pic is so pretty it has to be fake!![]()
Right? No matter what I do, every photo - day or night - looks like it's been photoshopped and color-adjusted like crazy.

Looks great. You and your wife did that yourselves and you enjoy it, that's what life is about. Doesn't matter how much something this, how big it is or how small it is, if you enjoy it, that's all that matters!!Well i just got done with a patio my wife and I put in by hand a couple weeks ago so pardon the mess in my pics. I dont have any of it finished, but there is some garden fence around the patio with lights and some tiki torches as well now. Not as beautiful as most here but its our little area. Almost forgot there is a reclining swing and water fountains out here as well.
It is paver patio bricks. Got them at menards (lowes type of place) 16"x16" blocks. Took 143 pavers to make the 18'x14.5' patio. I dont plan on a fence on the edge to block the factory behind us as the neighnor kids use that area to come over to play with my kids. I do have garden fencing there with rope lights hung on it to do lighting at night. Ill take a pic and post the updated finished area when i go outside in a while.@Chad1979 Is that brick patio stamped and stained concrete or actual brick?? It looks very nice! Will you be adding any fence to block the view of the warehouse behind you?
Water looks very inviting!!

Can you let me know the brand/model of the basketball hoop (assuming you are happy with it)? Thank you.
It's the splash & shoot made by dunnrite. Very happy with it.Can you let me know the brand/model of the basketball hoop (assuming you are happy with it)? Thank you.
After asking my buddy what he has he confirmed he has the splash and shoot by Dunnrite and has had no problems with it and swears by it. Him and his 16 year old son go pretty hard. Both by the same company so word of mouth so far is good.I've been interested in the Splash and Slam also but there isn't much info out there about it and it's never in stock when I think about getting it. There aren't any youtube reviews about it and it isn't sold on Amazon so there aren't many reviews out there that I have found. For that much money for a pool basketball goal, I am hoping there aren't any issues with it. So the rim isn't breakaway, but the whole backboard is kinda breakaway? I can't say I have ever seen anything like that. This might be what I need if it can withstand abuse, with two sons that love basketball. Beautiful place by the way @bmoreswim
Like a quick release on a bike. Got it, neat idea!!The Slam uses a tension method of the same style used on bike wheels. You spin the lever to rough tighten then flip it over to tighten. The amount of tension you apply regulates how easily the backboard/rim breaks away. If it breaks away, you undo the lever, push the backboard back up and reengage the lever. The lever is about 10” long versus 2” on a bicycle.
Odd why reviews aren’t out there. I bought it in 2014 I believe. It’s still in perfect shape. Only a new net or two. And some replacement balls. The base is probably close to 400+ pounds full.
This is great to hear. I'm going to add one to my paradise when they are restocked. Thanks for the info. The Slam uses a tension method of the same style used on bike wheels.
