What did you do to your pool today?

Oh I know. I'm hoping right around the first week of April if everything is thawed. I always open in April even though we never swim. I will be purchasing a new solar cover n hopefully a solar reel to make it easier on me getting it on n off.
stared at my half blown off cover. pretty clear water underneath the thing but I don't know for how long. still way too early to hook everything up to keep it clear.
I was looking at the pool from the top road n I can see a top rail which means I have to much water on the cover and it's pulling. I can do absolutely nothing about it right now because it's frozen. If it lets go, I know what to do to fix it. If you need help, we'll be here.
I nearly neglected mine this WE and glad I didn't. The pH was 7.7, and Chlorine was so-so, but a few new pucks in the floater will get me back for FC. Acid never stops.
On target for 50 Cya pretty soon, so back to Bleach alone I'll be B4 too awfully long.
Water is still below 50 so it's a good ways out for us.

Ive pulled 2 lawn chairs out of the pool. We are under some major wind advisories and they keep flying across the yard and ending up in the pool. My pool is a mess. But I HAD to keep these pine trees.
Wendy, will you PLEASE keep that weather over you way? It is said to be so bad they have closed all of our schools as it is going to come in right when the kids would be getting on the buses and we all know the parents would have them out in it waiting!

No way Kim! Everything that was on the North side of my property is now on the South side - with my pool in the middle. My pool is covered in grass and leaves, and our temps have dropped by 20-30 degrees. The sooner this stuff makes it to FL, the sooner us Texans can get back to a normal, warm day.

One of the kids came for a surprise visit w his GF and they head back to Dallas in the morning. So we fired up pool, spa, Margherita machine, grill. Added Stevie Ray Vaughan music and had Real TFP sendoff! Waaaay to much fun!

My Buddy in SA had his Trampoline blown away today. He said it was some stout stuff blowing through today.
Yes Patrick, the wind is howling today in SA...still! Today I dumped about 2 of the 5 inches of rain out of my pool. Hate throwing away free water.

It's seriously so windy! Chairs, limbs, and all sorts of crud are in my pool! Hopefully it will skip y'all!
I am in for a WIN! Some thunder boomers and rain BUT no real wind! Day off and do NOT have to spend it picking up the yard! Oh yeah!
Taking my hubby out to lunch then who knows! Will have to call neighbors and ask if they want to go on a horse trail ride!

The sun has rose here in TX. I'm afraid to go out and look at the yard, let-alone the pool. Yesterday's wind was off the charts. Knocked our power out 3 times.
I took my pump off and cleaned out the impeller. Much better flow now. It was very easy to do.

We had 40+mph wind gusts and times with sustained 30mph winds. It was Wacky! Where the heck does all that come from? The sun is definitely up but we still have 20-25 mph wind again today. Haven't looked at the pool yet. It is probably messy and the temp probably dropped from 50-something to 50-something lower!
Good thing my solar cover isn't getting here til today. If it had been on the pool yesterday Pat would probably have a free solar cover!

Actually we had a pretty good wind storm last night. Blew over my recycle trash can...now I get the joy of walking the neighborhood recovering all of my garbage Oi.

No good dead goes unpunished. Ouch...
Scooped lots of leaves--what I'll be doing lots of for the next month or so--dumped water after a storm, and sprayed off the cartridge filter.
Pulled out tons of debris from the wind storms we've been having. Turned back on the SWG!!! Pool temp at 60 so swimming in a month or so.
