What cable + connectors to use for RS-485 from Intelliflo3 to Aqualink

I understand what needs to be connected to what thanks to Jandy Aqualink RS - Further Reading

My new IntelliFlo3 did not come with a cable, so what cable should I buy? Some kind of outdoor Cat5 twisted pair cable? It looks like it's just 2 bare wires that connect at the pump & Aqualink end, with no connector required. True?

To connect the Pentair pump to the AquaLink you only need 2 wires as opposed to 4.
I am not familar with the newest IntelliFlo3. How does the RS485 cable connect to it. My older IntelliFlo had a plug into the pump and 4 wires exposed on the other end. Any 2 wire 22 AWG will work. Assuming you can connect directly to the pump with wires adn not a plug in.

22 gauge solid 2 wire cable with an outdoor rated jacket

No connectors required on either side. The wires go into terminal blocks.

I wanted to add that if you have the AquaLink with an antenna, normally there is more than enough wire that you can cut some of that and use it.
