Installing my SWG this week-end. Fine tuning my chems and adding salt presently (thx TFP for all the guidance!)
Do you guys do anything special when you have a spa attached via spillway to the pool (all same level so no real waterfall effect from the Spa)?
My SWG will be before the Pool / Spa selection valve, but I plan on only running the SWG when in pool mode during my daily cycles via a timer for the SWG that will match my Intelliflow onboard pump schedule.
My assumption is the water will "balance out" with the pool water so I don't need to make any special accomodations now that I'll be going SWG.
The way my pool was setup when we moved in has the "normal" water flow has 100% suction from the pool and about 80% return to pool and 20% return to spa (via the valves). So there is spillover from the spa to the pool. This has been working fine as far as keeping good chems in both the pool and the spa.
