Weekly maintenance to add Chlorine/Bleach

Please apologized me since I am still confused after reading/browsing troublefreepool.com

Assuming that my pool PH, FAC, TAC are within the normal range. For weekly maintenance, I believed that I should add Chlorine/Bleach to kill the germs/bacteria. If so, will it increase my PH level higher than normal range? or Free Available Chlorine will be out of range?
