Waterline tile installation concern

I am having my pool resurfaced with NPT StoneScapes and the approved applicator installer suggested replacing the tile because it was probably original (1960s). They were worried that if they damaged them during chip out they would not be able to match. I agreed and made a selection. They came and installed it last week but the grout line along the top is atrociously wide. The installer grouted the space between the top of the tile and the bottom of the bullnose instead of the bottom of the precast. Is there anything we can have them do to fix this? The coping is similar to Handcrafted Stone | Hardscapes Precast Coping | NPTpool.com AQ profile.

That should not be all grout as it will crack and fall apart.. It should have some grout and then a perimeter joint.. Here is a document that states what can be used.. the second picture shows how to do it.. :)

PERIMETER & MOVEMENT JOINT SEALANT
