Past attempts at rechargeable robots did not have good reliability. The company marketing this also has had some reports of reliability issues with their hand held cordless vacuums. Do a search of the forum.

Thanks. I did purchase one based on my poolblaster purchase which I love, and have used for 5 years. They won’t be available until April, but I will post after I get it!
Just an update. I have had this for a month now and happy to let you know it is spectacular. It is the first robot, pool cleaner that does not get hung up on my main drains. ALWAYS had to watch my others and had to move off all the time. I run it in the daily mode , lasts for 4 hours. I have a TruL..16x32x28. It cleans every inch. I did run it in the weekly mode first but my pool gets too much debris for just a 30 min clean. This has been the worst year we have ever had for silver maple (whirley birds). Between my solar breeze and the CX-1 its virtually no maintenance. Great purchase!
