I wrote to Jandy about a valve leaking and they asked me to snap a photo of it and they sent me a new one.
I tell you this because I suggest you do that also (but I'm a minimalist - I don't buy anything that I don't have to buy).
My philosophy is there's no sense in paying for a replacement when they will give it to you for free.
