I have 2 spill over fountains and 4 spitters. I’m trying to prevent pH rise. What is the minimum amount of time should I run these daily to prevent algae to form in these features? Currently run for a total of 2 hours a day. FC levels are always 6-8 and CYA 50-70, thanks for my SWG and friends at TFP for convincing me to switch from 3” pucks

2 to 5 minutes is all you need to get fresh chlorinated water into the pipes.

sure,

I doubt running 2 hours a day is having a huge impact on your pH... But, reducing the run time can't hurt.

What is your TA..
What level of pH are you trying to maintain??
What are you using to lower your pH?

I try to keep TA 60-70. Latest TA - 80. Goal pH 7.8. I use MA 31.45%.

Fill water has pH around 8.2 and TA around 120 using drop method.

All that looks good...

Still, I'd try to drop your TA to 50 or 60 and see if that helps any..
