I have a salt pool and just tested my levels. I could use some guidance to get my chemistry at the recommended levels. Here are my readings:

PH: 8
TA: 90
CYA: 35
CH: 1000

You will struggle to keep from scaling in your pool with a CH of 1000. As your fill water is high in CH, it goes up due to refill from evaporation. Do you have a water softener for your home?

You need to track CSI and do your best to keep at or below zero. That will mean keeping your TA and pH in the low end of the recommended levels.

And I suspect your water costs are fairly high.
You should start to research Reverse Osmosis services for when you wish to reduce your CH.
Do you have water line scale issues right now?

No visible scaling right now, so I think that’s a good sign if I take care of it early enough.

Good. Track CSI. Keep in slightly negative.
