Hello everyone I am looking for some advice in swimming pool building. I have built an in ground pool using ‘pool building brick EPS25/EPS80’. I would like to use mosaic tiles on the walls but have not found any bonding agents that would adhere to the polystyrene. I have considered Wedi boards but the depth recommended is 20mm which is too think, I have also considered fibre glass meshing and am awaiting a response from the supplier. I was wondering if anyone can recommend any primers and adhesives which can be used to apply a barrier to the blocks making them suitable to tile? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Hello and welcome to TFP! I think this is the first time I have seen this kind of product. It looks like a neat product. Have you asked the makers of the blocks for suggestions?
Hello Kimkats thank you for the welcome, yes I have been back and forth between the manufacturers, Ardex and Wedi and there does not seem to be a straightforward answer
That is where I am finding the problem. Those who tile the pools have structure made from concrete and not reinforced polystyrene. I am looking for help and suggestions for this type of structure.
I googled a couple of manufacturers and the ones I found were using vinly liners. There was no mention of using plaster or tile.
Did you have any information before hand that tile would work ?
