UV system

I have a Delta UV that I decided to retire after a couple of repairs. Any idea how to disconnect it? I rather not remove it, if that’s an option.
Not sure if I can leave it but shut the valves and unplug it somehow. Thanks

No leaks, just expensive to maintain/replace parts

Unplug the power brick mounted on the wall above the pump. It looks like that powers the UV.

If the UV is not leaking that is all you need to do.

By repairs I meant, replacing the quartz tube and lamp.

It looks like it is plumbed with a bypass. Can you post a better picture of the valve arrangement around it? If it is indeed plumbed with a bypass loop then you can simply change the valve positions so no water flows through it and disconnect the entire unit.

Yes. Those quartz tubes are $75 a piece and they become opaque very quickly. The bulbs are expensive too. It’s really unnecessary. Solar UV provides all that you need.

The beauty of those units is they do the same thing whether they are consuming electricity or not. I'd just stop feeding it electricity and ignore the housing.
