uprights not all straight - structurally sound? (with pics)

Hi there!

We had a new AGP installed last season and have no problems with it. But something I noticed after the install has irked me mostly from a visual perspective but more importantly I just want to make sure it's "normal" and in no way hazardous to the integrity/strength of the pool.

One upright of the pool seems to angle out a bit while on the other side one is slightly angled in and another slightly angled out but not as much as the one on the opposite side. Is this a normal occurrence in some AGPs or an error during installation that I should be concerned about? Is the pool structurally sound like this?

Should be able to feel them through the liner? I noticed this on my pool yesterday but thought it was just an optical illusion because its the post at the bend. The water is level around the entire pool

No you can't feel them from the inside. What I meant was are they touching the outside of the wall at the top and bottom and all along the post?

Yes, they are touching the wall...if any gap it's ever so slight where i can't fit a finger behind it or anything. And it's funny you mention it being an optical illusion because that's what the installer said to me when I mentioned it as he was putting up the frame. Also, i was reading that sometimes the uprights can angle out or in if the base is not level, but I put a level on each of the top rails and it's perfectly level all around. So that's a good sign, right?

I think it's probably fine, but if it bothers you, one way to tell if they got the pool out of round at the bottom is to take a string and pull it across the inside of the pool at the bottom just above the cove in several places. Work it back and forth until it's the max length. Measure each time you pull the string and record the number. If they're all pretty close the pool is round. Since you've already checked them for level you have that covered.

Use your level vertically on the uprights to see if they're plumb or not.

I have to find my smaller level. The big one i used is too tall to fit next to it. This is a pic of the one that looks like it's leaning outward the most to me. It has a slight space between the wall and the upright towards the top.

Ok, just used the smaller level. Confirmed again all top rails are level. But the majority of the uprights I could access (the far side of the pool is under a deck) were a bit unlevel. Only about three of them were perfect. The others all pushed to halfway over one line or the other. Even the ones that visually look plumb.
