I have a Coleman 16ft x 42in Power Steel that I got up and running this weekend. I purchased an Intex Krystal Clear sand filter and pump (SX1500) ahead of time because I knew they were better than the one it came with. However I did not know that I would need to buy what I am assuming is an assortment of adapters. All it has now is these small inlet/outlet pieces you push through the liner and then attach the hoses to for the cartridge filter (see attached pic). The sand filter has MUCH bigger fittings and I hope I don't have to cut the liner.

Does anyone have a parts list or instructions?

I would like to hard plumb this in while I am digging into all of this, but I need to figure this out first.

Measure the fitting on the sand filter. It is most likely 1.5 or 2 PVC slip fitting. Take all the pool fittings to Home Depot or Ace Hardware. If you want to hard pipe it then there should be the necessary adapters that you can purchase

Most of the plumbing I can do and I would do exactly what you mention, I just don't know how to do the pool side of things. Like the inlet connector that came with the sand filter is 1.5 or 2 and the opening on the pool cant be much more than an inch. Do I have to cut?

ok, take the hose to HD and get a barbed fitting, then a reducer (you'll reverse it so it is an expander) to get it from the hose to the fitting on the pump...
